Archie’s Sliders
After years as head chef in some of Wilmington’s top restaurants, Tripp Engel’s latest project is a food truck, featuring a menu that reflects a Rastafarian philosophy influenced by Jamaican.
All Archie’s sliders served on fresh 9 Bean Rows Bakery buns.

Locally sourced beefalo, caramelized onion, Michigan mild cheddar, dijonaise.

Our team
Jon Petrie, Chef
Born and raised in Grayling, Michigan, Jon attended school through the Great Lakes Culinary Institute in Traverse City, Michigan. While earning his degree, Jon worked in several area restaurants where he continued to hone his skills.
Nick Petrie, Manager
Born and raised in Grayling, Michigan, Nick has always had a passion for business which he is currently studying at Central Michigan University. Nick has also gained experience in the kitchen at Paddle Hard Brewery making artisan paninis, pizzas, and tacos.
Dave Petrie, Owner
Born in Saginaw, Michigan, Dave moved to Grayling at 16 years old with his family. He married his high school sweetheart in 1981 after his high school graduation. After serving in the Air Force for a few years he moved back to Grayling, attended school, and became the service manager at Scheer Motors / Matt LaFontaine Automotive. Now that his six children are grown and he has retired after 30 years, he is ready to begin this new adventure.
